We are a congregation of nearly 60 active members amidst the highly-diverse neighborhood of west Phoenix called "Maryvale." Established in 1957, West Congregational is one of 43 churches of the Southwest Conference of the United Church of Christ.

As a member congregation of the UCC, we are a fellowship that seeks to be a multi-racial, multi-ethnic community that takes seriously Jesus' call (and our denominational motto) "that they may all be one." While this call is certainly a challenge in these times, we believe it to be what God demands of us.

Our services of worship attempt to combine traditional mainline Protestant styles with creative music and liturgy. We include our children in our worship experiences, and provide for them a Sunday School time as well.

We understand the Scriptures to be the inspired revelation of God, and encourage each other to look to the Holy Spirit as our guide in studying them.

We invite you to visit and worship with us on Sunday mornings at 10 am. Our Nursery and Sunday School are available for children and youth.
